TESTIMONIALS

Name: Susan Ashdown
Occupation: Student/Banker
Testimonial: I have just recently met the Hirsh brothers and there is one thing about them that struck me; dedication. They are work really hard at what they love to do most, which is playing baseball. When I first met Matt I knew that he played baseball but then I learned to see him eat, sleep, and dream baseball in every aspect of his life. The more I get to know him the more I see baseball as his future goal. He is making great strides towards his ultimate goal; from working out to taking yoga classes. I have also heard great words of wisdom from Jason as to "never look back, just keep going forward" that seemed to flow straight from his dedication and heart of baseball. He is a strong hero for his brother as well. These brothers have such great parents, family, and neighbors that stand behind them and helps lift their dreams to reality. There is no doubt in my mind that they will accomplish their goals and always be great baseball players. I am truly blessed to see the love of the game amongst the Hirsh brothers.

Name: Dale Legaspi
Occupation: Communications/Public Relations Professional
Testimonial: I have known the Hirsh brothers since Matt and I were nine, when we played against each other in youth league ball. A year later, Matt and I were two of the founding members of the Burbank Buccaneers travel baseball team, which won the 1994 CABA 10-year-old World Series in the bustling metropolis of Aurelia, Iowa. From there, our baseball adventures continued into new states and a new league, in which the age requirements allowed Matt and Jason and I to all play on the same team. After that year, Jason went on to St. Francis High School, while Matt and I continued on in travel ball, venturing to different places like Minnesota and New York. The following year, I was into high school, now playing against my longtime friend and teammate Jason, also knowing Matt was right behind. High school went by, and we went our separate ways with the Hirsh brothers continuing their studies at Cal Lutheran while I went to USC. Despite the different directions we went after high school, I was fortunate enough to remain friends with Matt and Jason — a relationship that continues to this day. I look forward to watching them on TV and then calling them to talk smack after the game because I am that guy.
